Nephew of the famous banker Jacques Laffitte , Charles Lafitte is one of the promoters of the construction of the railway Paris-Rouen between 1841 and 1843 . He also participated in the creation of the network of water supply of the town of Maisons-Laffitte from 1859 . Parisian personality, Charles Laffitte, a great lover of horse racing , is a founding member of the Jockey Club , will be created in which the 'Trust.
